1970
Hans Dentz presents the first manual shrinking equipment on the European market.
1973
"SchrumpfASS" is the first shrinking gun produced in Gemany with piezoelectric ignition.
1975
The first semi-automatic pallet shrinking machine.
1976
The stretching technique is booming. Dentz develops an extremely flat pallet turntable and a flexilbe
drive-up ramp.
1979
Dentz puts more of his ideas into practice. One of them is a five unit modular system. From the
manual "StretchLift" to semi-automatic "StretchLift" and finally automatic "StretchLift" with conveyor
technique.

1985
Shrinking is automated for higher throughputs. "SchrumpfProfi" from Dentz delivers high
performance while it is space-saving at the same time. The capacity of the shrinking machine is at
about 25 to 80 pallets per hour.
1988
"SchrumpfLift", a patented machine, is introduced. Perfect foil "undershrink" below the skids. For
individual shrinking in case of uneven pallet load.
1989
Stretching and shrinking are no longer rivaling techniques, each method has its advantages. Dentz
offers on customers' special requests a combined solution, "Combi-Schrumpfer", with a central
turntable for the pallets plus heaters for shrink bags and additionally integrated the "StretchLift" for
stretch wrapping of the pallets.

1992
The automatic "SchrumpfPROFI" can be additionally equipped with the "PullOVER" plant. A semi-
automatic pull-over device is also available.
1995
"StretchTWIST" is a new alternative. For the first time it is possible to have a semi-automatic
stretching machine without turntable. The foil circles round the standing pallet.
1998
The turntable without ramp allows the packing of the pallets without drive-up ramp. The load can be
put on the pallet directly by a hand elevating truck.
2002
During INTERPACK in Duesseldorf the StripLIFT is introduced. This new solution presenting a semi-
automatic streching machine with pull-over bag is taken by surprise from the experts. With legal
protection for registered utility models. Applied for European patent.
